Brazen – Brazen jewellery fire the imagination

Brazen jewellery is the brainchild of Sarah Raffel, 24, and Marianne Anderson, 26. Nearing graduation in silversmith and jewellery from the Glasgow School of Art, both talented young designers felt that something was missing within their craft – they both noted the lack of basic facilities for young jewellery designers to hone their skills and create timeless pieces.

With this in mind, it wasn't long before Brazen was born. Futhermore, having won the Deutsche Bank Pyramid Award of £7000, Raffel and Anderson began to realise that their Brazen workshop idea was no longer a dream, it was a reality. Putting together a business plan, Brazen won further funding in the form of £35,000 from the Creative Pioneer programme NESTA.
