Prada - Unrivalled Italian style

Prada was founded in Milan in 1913, but the one thing this fashion icon is not is dated. Sharp, silhouette and statuesque are but a few words that describe the majestic and intense ethos of Prada fashion.

Creative director and chief designer Miuccia Prada has an eye for detail and that is seen in Prada innately perfect designs that she will redraw and redraw until it is perfect to her too. Prada is famous for mixing classic styles with avant-garde materials which can be seen in their designer shoes and designer handbags available at koodos. There was no change in form at the S/S Milan fashion week whereby it announced as loudly as possible that colour and flare was back in fashion with an 80’s inspired, multi-fabric collection. Prada experimented with funky tones for dresses, shoes and skirts, whilst all the time playing with texture, patterning and new luxury fabrics for female shirts, handbags and jackets. Keeping the fashion world on its toes as much as possible.

Not only does this brand dominate as one of fashions most iconic and stylish designers, but its creative director Miuccia Prada has also established her own very successful women's fashion house Miu Miu. As well as owning the male equivalent Prada Uomo also the newer but no less chic Prada Donna range, Prada is a fashion house to be listened too. Beautiful, timeless, irresistibly unique, Prada truly is one of the worlds leading fashion houses and thank god for it.
